Dillon Clarke’s bespoke tailoring draws upon the craft of Florentine tailoring. He is one of the few tailors in the world who cut, make, and finish entirely in-house himself. Trained in Florentine and English tailoring he ultimately adopted the sculptural softness, extensive handwork and subtle irregularity of the Florentine style. Each commission is personally carried out by him, from cloth selection and making process, to fittings and the final press. The suits take over 120 hours of hand and iron work accross two to three fittings — he makes around 12 to 15 suits per year. Dillon sources his materials from Italy and Northern England. His work has key focusses of simplicity and practicality that serve the longevity of the suit. Dillon's work has a level of handwork that is inimitable; every step is intentional and undertaken with delicacy. Commisions currently take 3-6 months depedning on client location and availability.
